A beautiful Autumn day in eastern Long Island was the setting for Lori and Roger’s nuptials. Their wedding was neutral and warm colors to highlight the autumn light and had a more relaxed feel. They included thoughtful details for the ceremony with a rustic feel. In the reception, their sweetheart table had bistro lights strung above them to create the warmest of ambiances. Even their cake topper was custom, to show Roger + Lori behind Roger’s drum set.As for the couple themselves, they couldn’t be more in love. They wrote each other sweet notes before the ceremony which left EVERYONE blissfully tearing up. The ceremony was their most important part of the day. They filled it with their vows in their own words, even Lori’s sister officiated the wedding . Roger’s reaction to seeing Lori walking down the aisle, was one of our favorites; definitely had us choking up as we caught the moment. The reception was a full blown party with a live band and DJ combo. Roger even hopped onto the drummer’s to add to the incredible energy of the day. After cake was cut, the bride and groom ran outside through a tunnel of sparklers!
